Vivian Elich

Vivian Elich (1966) studied at Tehatex in Tilburg (now Fontys Hogeschool) and the Art Academy Sint Joost in Breda, in the Graphics department. She worked and then exhibited at the Masereelcentrum in Flanders, the Triennale Majdanek in Poland and Museum Jan van der Togt in Amstelveen. The exhibition shows dry needles and drawings. Elich plays with shadows and silhouettes in her work. She creates intimate images that hold the attention, with a attentive concentrated handwriting. The time factor is clearly visible in the work. This shows itself in repetition and rhythm. Durability and concentration are keywords.
